City officials said 30 percent of the parking spaces downtown are occupied all day and the meter system is the way to promote parking turn over downtown.

    State labor officials say Georgia's jobless rate has dropped to 7.9 percent.That's down from 8.1 percent in August. The state's Labor Commissioner said Georgia is continuing to see strong overall job growth. He said Georgia has added 80-thousand jobs since September 2013.
    State labor officials say Georgia's jobless rate has dropped to 7.9 percent.That's down from 8.1 percent in August. The state's Labor Commissioner said Georgia is continuing to see strong overall job growth. He said Georgia has added 80-thousand jobs since September 2013.
