    People traveling on a popular road in the City of Harlem will now be able to travel faster, but there's a catch.The city of Harlem has approved an ordinance to raise the speed limit from 35 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour on Harlem-Grovetown Road from Oliver Hardy Court.But with the increased speed limit, public safety officers will now be able to use radar and issue speeding tickets.The new signs are set to go up in the beginning of November with a grace period of a few weeks with warnings.

    Former Georgia State Senator Charles Walker will have his freedom on Friday.According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, Walker will be released from federal custody.He was convicted in 2006 of mail fraud, tax evasion and criminal charges.He served the bulk of his time at a federal prison in Estill, South Carolina, and has been in a transitional facility since December.

    The Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation makes sure that no burn patient goes without the medication and supplies they need to fully recover after leaving the hospital, but they do more than that. Through the Chavis House, the foundation gives the patients' families a home away from home, food, and sometimes even transportation – making sure that the burn patient doesn't just have the care of the hospital staff; they have the love and support of their family.
