    Grovetown Public Safety Officers need your help locating two men they say escaped from jail. According to Chief Gary Owens, they are searching for Michael Davis, a 24 year old African-American man, and Joshua Gray, a 21 year old White man. Authorities say they were being held on traffic and probation charges. They are not to be considered armed and dangerous. If you have any information on their whereabouts, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

You’ve seen it happen in Downtown Augusta, everyone migrated to Columbia County. Then a lot of folk in the South Augusta community went to different areas and it left somewhat of a void. If you look at the communities now, it’s very clear that there is a grave difference in all of these areas.

Somebody knew about that. It is all about the power brokers in this city making money. It is not black and white, it is green,” said Lori Davis, Harrisburg Neighborhood Association Activist. Why is it that you ran on one Augusta and yet years later, Hardie Davis had to run on one Augusta? Why?
